Hello dance friends,

On Sunday January 25th my friend Tava Naiyin and I will join forces to teach an afternoon of workshops at Performance Dance in Norwalk, CT. The topics are:

2-3:30: So, you're thinking about a solo performance? Crafting the cabaret set (part 1) with Tava- This will include veil wraps (and how to get out of them), exciting moves for your entrance and clever ways to engage the audience. This will benefit any dancer who is curious about doing a solo and incorporating veil. Please bring veils and finger cymbals if you have them.

*15 minute break*

3:34-5:15: For the tribal-curious - Introduction to Tribal Fusion with Joy Herbst - Explore the slinky and grounded movements of this popular style. In this workshop, participants will learn basic technique, posture and expression of tribal-fusion style bellydance. Exciting combinations will be taught as well.

Compliation CD's will be available for $5 if you enjoy the music from either of these workshops and water/snacks will be available during the break. Cost is: $30 each 90 minute class or $50 for both (3 hours of instruction). Two discounted spots are available. Contact me for more info.
