Yippee!! -- A NeW Adv. Beginner/ Intermediate Tribal Fusion belly dance class is starting at Revive Wellness Center Studio on Tuesday, November 6th! Classes are from 7pm- 8:15pm, and will be drop in only for $17.oo per class.
Revive is located in tres adorable Westville at 867 Whalley Ave New Haven, CT 06515, Tel: 203.387.1540 (www.revivewellnesscenter.com)
Bring water, a non- coin hip scarf, wear clothes that allow for freedom of movement and come ready to sweat!! Please bring a three yard veil and zills to all classes.
Also-- I am VeRY pleased to announce our monthly Middle Eastern Fusion Sunday Nights at Caffe Bottega, New Haven's most styley of night spots (AKA: no wet t-shirts please!)
Our first night is October 21st and features sets by JoY, Aleenah, Katia & Ursa -- Four dancing dynamos of delicious and delightful talent!
The evening will start with a mini belly dance lesson, and we will have lots of open dancing peppered throughout the night as well with DJ's Manny and Dave! Door entry is only $5.00!
Let's show the New Haven scene how enriching and amazing this dance is!
And finally, I wish to invite you to attend a very special dance concert that will reveal the newest choreography by Ms. Dalia Carella, Bedouiette at NYC's Dance New Amsterdam in downtown Manhattan. Three shows will highlight new choreographic works also by Rachel Feinerman (Simonson dance), Isabel Gotzkowsky (Modern), Katiti King (Simonson) and Nia Love (Modern/Roots).
This is a very exciting show where Middle Eastern Contemporary dance will finally be showcased next to Modern dance in a very professional downtown theater setting. I am thrilled to be a part of it!!!
